Bio: 

Greg grew up in a horse racing family. A native of Oldham County, located outside of Louisville, Kentucky.

Greg's father Dravo was his ticket into the horse racing industry. Greg worked for Dravo with many of his 1,163 winners. Greg began training on his own in 1981 and has since racked up more than 1,300 victories with his horses  accumulating more than $23 million in earnings. 

The third generation of the Foley's, Travis, is Greg's assistant trainer. Travis, a graduate of University of Kentucky, is one of the few assistant trainers in the country to receive his master's degree.

2-time Leading Trainer at Ellis Park
Saddled his 1,000th career winner 1/23/2008
Currently ranked 8th in all time victories at Churchill Downs.
